ID: Self Discovery and Life Mapping
Here's what our students have to say about the impact of this class on
their lives, plans, and goals.
their lives, plans, and goals.
Lisa, ATLaS AlumAtlas has made my life "move" in the correction direction! I came out of prison after 2 years and 17 years of drug use, lost, in a cloud of "what to do." This has been exactly what I need and I thank God. It was put in my life right when I needed direction! I learned I can map out my goals and dreams and follow my personal map right to the end at my own pace.
I mapped out buying a car, waiting to not move out so quickly, so I could save to get a car - which I did! I also have used it to learn what I need to do to publish a book, and I am now following that path. I strongly suggest everyone learn from ATLaS - and what a gift Kirstin and Jonathon have been. Both have blessed my life. I am more confident and secure with where and what I'm doing. "Living Well!" Thank you eternally, Lisa |
Art, ATLaS AlumThrough ATLaS, I have been able to learn that dreams are not gone. They were just forgotten. With the help of this class, I am able to pursue old ones and create new ones, as well as gain access to parenting skills that will be beneficial to my daughter and myself! Thank you so much ATLaS!

Derek, ATLaS AlumAt the very beginning of ATLaS, I wasn't quite convinced that the direction was going to be a direction I could move in. However, VERY quickly the direction became visible. Not only visible but very encouraging and unifying. At the conclusion of the program, I feel like people are moving in positive and wonderful directions, and I truly attribute the movements to the core principles of ATLaS. The potential is incredible and very uplifting, to say the least. To avoid sounding over-patronizing and glorifying the program, I will sum it up like this "All Torah" and that is a beautiful, beautiful thing!!! Thanks K and J!

Maria, ATLaS AlumI am a 53 year old hispanic woman. I was released from prison on Sept. 6.
I took classes in prison and am currently taking classes out here. ATLaS is the most beneficial class I have taken as of yet. I has helped me to map out my life. It taught me how I can achieve my dreams. I wish they had this class in prison. It really would have helped me upon my release. |
Mary, ATLaS AlumWell, I have learned that when you put a lot into what you want in life, you will get a lot back. Success will take you a long ways in life. I will put my mind to what needs to be done and focus on myself and the goals I have set for myself, and my long-term and short-term goals. I am very proud of myself to have attended and completed this ATLaS class. If it weren't for Kayla Ann, who asked me if I wanted to attend this program, and Jonathon and Kirstin, I don't know where I would be or how I would start my research. I am glad to have completed this class; it has taught me a lot and it will help me in my life in the very near future. I will use the tools they gave me. I will succeed in what I want to be and who I will soon become.

Dan, ATLaS AlumI feel like the ATLaS class was very informative and educational. I honestly feel like I learned and developed better skills that will help me to transition into society better. I really appreciate you both coming and for giving us practical life skills. Thank you also for giving me a general direction to move my life towards [personal contact info omitted]. I will stay in touch and thank you again. You both are AMAZING.

Rovene, ATLaS AlumThe 6 weeks that has gone by attending ATLaS class has helped me understand that there's more to life than just being simple, fearful, stressed, and thinking that nothing will ever go my way or that there's no one there for me.
Every day is a struggle, but if you keep you mind and body in the moment and pay attention to your surroundings, you will see that nothing and everything is not as hard as they seem. Kirstin and Jonathon helped explain this and did their best at helping me solve how to go about my life. They didn't judge me and were very kind and helpful. |
Delfred, ATLaS AlumFrom the start, I didn't know why I was in this class. I thought it was more like a workshop for artists. But the more I attended the sessions, it got me thinking about my future. It gave me a spark when listening to other people's situations and how they reflected on myself. Guess everyone is going through the same thing that I'm going through.
Now we got down to the conclusion, where I set a goal for myself to expand my career further on - make my life a lot easier for me and my family. This is what I can releate to - others who are wanting help. This class was a more productive and better learning experience than any other I've attended so far. So conclude this - I want to say thank you for all the help. Take care! |
Eric, ATLaS AlumATLaS has helped me personally in so many ways it is difficult to describe in words. I appreciate the focus that ATLaS has brought into my life, within myself, my career, and possibly even to others. ATLaS has introduced life skills and life tools that were completely unexpected and have brought forth the changes needed for a better life, lifestyle and human existence. Thank you ATLaS!!!
