Reentry Program Development

Picture
For Correctional Institutions:
Do you want to reduce recidivism?  Improve community relations?  Have multiple success stories to report?  Give reentrering prison survivors the tools they need to maintain functionality in free society.  ATLAS has designed a reentry program that weaves together skills to cope with the psychological and emotional struggles inherent in reentry and reintegration and life and dream mapping.  In this class, students undergo institutional detox during which they identify the conditioning and institutionalization they've experienced during incarceration.  Students will develop strategies to defy the instincts that led to their incarceration, that threaten their ability to maintain functionality, and that impede finding and discovering true happiness.  You can purchase this curriculum, and ATLaS representatives will train your staff to teach it in the most effective way.

For Community Partners:
If you are working with reentering prison survivors and want to give them the mental and emotional tools to successfully transition back into society, our curriculum offers the entire toolkit.  You can purchase the written curriculum in conjunction with training from ATLaS representatives.  We can customize the curriculum and training program to meet your specific needs and the needs of the population with whom you work.   In this class, students undergo institutional detox during which they identify the conditioning and institutionalization they've experienced during incarceration.  Students will develop strategies to defy the instincts that led to their incarceration, that threaten their ability to maintain functionality, and that impede finding and discovering true happiness.
